Great News!!

Now that I've eaten and drank tons of water, I remembered that I've a good news to share. I've LOST WEIGHT!!!! I think I have a waist now. On 13 September, my weight was 5kg. Yesterday I was 4.6kg. My aunt was so happy that cutting my food back by 20% and making me play fetch really helped. I feel beautiful.

2 Teeth short

I had both my molars extracted today. It was loose already and the vet removed both. My aunt had a shock when she went to pick me. It was a most torturous day today. I was SO HUNGRY this morning and I was not allowed any water. Then when I came home, I was not allowed water and food till after 9pm. I feel SO sorry for myself. My grandpa held me for quite awhile. His kept saying that his heart is aching. But I can tell you that his heart cannot possibly ache as much as my empty stomach. I heard my aunt told my grandparents that I should feel some pain tomorrow. Gee... I wonder why. I hope she's wrong. My mommy, daddy, godma and many aunties prayed for me today and they were all very concerned. I just want to EAT!!!

Another visit to the vet tomorrow

I'm going to get my teeth scaled and tear ducts flushed tomorrow and my aunt had been so nervous about it that she had been sleeping badly for the last week. She has also asked many people to pray for me. I'm cool about it except there'll be no breakfast for me tomorrow morning. Sigh... Now I'm wondering if I will have anything to eat tomorrow night.

Maple is leaving Shanghai

My mommy's very sad because Maple's daddy and mommy will be leaving Shanghai and going to another part of China to live. My mommy is going to miss Maple's mommy so much and Maple too. Maple will be taking her first plane ride soon and I hope she'll enjoy it. I've never been on a plane and I hope that Maple will tell me about it.

I miss Grandpa

Grandpa has gone to Kuala Lumpur to visit grand aunt who is sick. I kept waiting for him to come home last night but he didn't. Aunt told me he'll be home another day. I miss my grandpa; I hope he'll be home soon.

Visit to the Vet

I had the once a year dreaded visit to the vet this morning. I was told that I am overweight and my food intake has to be cut down by about 20%. My mommy freaked out when she heard that I am now 5kg. I also had to have my teeth scaled as there's tartar and my aunt will have to take a day's leave to see to that. After insulting me about my weight, the vet gave me an injection. I'm so upset with her. My aunt felt sorry for me and took me for a little shopping trip. I was quite excited to be in a shopping centre and I was told to stay in my bag and keep very still. I was a good girl and obeyed.

Louie was upset this morning too. He missed his morning walk because of the heavy rain and when he saw his mommy leaving the house with me instead of him, he looked hurt and we heard him crying as we walked away. I know my aunt's heart ached when she heard him cry but there's nothing we can do. He was happy to see us again by the time we came home.
