Look at my birthday present....

It's my birthday today and Louie got me the weirdest looking present with his Chinese New Year money. It has a green head and a red body but it's quite a huggable toy. I have decided to like it.

Storms

I'm terrified of thunder storms and we seem to be having quite a bit of that these days. I'll squeeze into bed with grandpa and I feel very safe there.

Poor Louie

My aunt brought Louie to the vet this morning to get his teeth scaled. She totally freaked out when the vet called to say that they had discovered that Louie's liver has some damaged cells. She could hardly eat the entire day. Louie is home and recuperating and he's on liver tonic. My aunt is very grateful for family and friends who prayed along side with her for Louie; she said that knowing so many people are praying for Louie, comforted her throughout the day.

So sad.....

My parents and brother have gone back to Shanghai and I'm feeling sad. Sigh.....
